The Deputy Ministers of Justice discussed the prospects for deepening cooperation with the Japanese parliamentary delegation.

Lana Morgoshia and Giorgi Dgebuadze introduced the priorities and main areas of activity of the Ministry of Justice to the Head of the Delegation of the Japan-Georgia Parliamentary Friendship Group, Karen Makishima, and other members of the group.

Given the delegation’s interest, special attention was paid to reforms aimed at ensuring access to services and introducing digital governance.

The Georgian side expressed its willingness to share Japan’s experience in the field of technological innovations and expressed hope that there are opportunities to deepen cooperation between the two countries in this regard.

Meeting was also attended by Mariam Bregadze, Head of the International Relations Department of the Ministry of Justice, Rusudan Kokhodze, Chair of the State Services Development Agency, David Devidze, Head of the National Agency of Public Registry, Vakhtang Zhvania, Chair of the House of Justice, and David Nadirashvili, Chair of the Digital Governance Agency.

Today, as part of their visit to Georgia, the Japanese delegation will visit the central branch of the Tbilisi House of Justice and learn about the concept of service delivery and the process of providing private and public services.
