Irrigation water supply will be improved on up to 250 ha of agricultural land in Marneuli Municipality

LLC “Georgia Melioration” is carrying out works to regulate the melioration infrastructure in the Marneuli municipality, upon the completion of which the provision of irrigation water for up to 250 hectares of agricultural land will be improved.

At this stage, a 10-km section of the Barataant Kari main canal and a 5-km section of the Dzveli Sadakhlo main canal are being cleared of sedimented soil and vegetation cover.

The works aim to ensure the proper functioning of the irrigation systems, efficient water distribution, and the improvement of irrigation water accessibility for farmers.
