Georgia ranks 13th in Europe, 24th worldwide in 2025 Coordinated Governance Index

The Chandler Institute has published its long-term vision rankings as part of its 2025 Coordinated Governance Report. According to the document, the Georgian Government was placed 13th in Europe and 24th globally.

The ranking is based on the Bertelsmann Foundation’s global survey on topics such as: how effectively governments can coordinate conflicting objectives into “coherent policy”, and what the characteristics of coordination are among different governing bodies and agencies according to sustainable development indicators.

Government of Georgia received a high evaluation, ranking 24th worldwide and 13th in Europe.

Georgia outperforms two G7 countries and 16 member states of the OECD, the European Union, the Schengen Area, and NATO [including Japan, Germany, Switzerland, Sweden, Iceland, Norway, Austria, the Netherlands, Slovakia, Romania, Bulgaria, Malta, Cyprus, North Macedonia, Israel, and Turkey].

Besides, Georgia`s ranking matches that of one G7 country and six EU member states: Italy, Portugal, Poland, the Czech Republic, Croatia, Latvia.
