The Election Administration continues to provide information to voters and all stakeholders regarding the Election Day. At this stage, the voting process is proceeding in a calm environment across polling stations.
"As of 10:00 a.m., voter turnout stands at 275,948 voters (7.85%). The highest voter activity has been recorded in the Racha-Lechkhumi region.
For voters who are unable to go to the polling stations due to health conditions, mobile ballot boxes have already been dispatched. It should be noted that voters casting their ballots through mobile boxes will go through an inking procedure.
According to the Election Code, campaigning is prohibited inside polling station buildings on Election Day. The placement of campaign materials within a 25-meter radius of the polling station entrance is forbidden.
Any obstruction of voters` movement within 100 meters of the polling station premises is not allowed. Likewise, gathering of individuals or recording of voters within a 100-meter radius of the polling station is prohibited on Election Day. Additionally, until 20:00 (8:00 p.m.), paid or unpaid pre-election advertisements are not permitted to be broadcast on television or radio. The publication of public opinion poll results related to the elections is also prohibited during this period".
