The CEC held an information meeting in Marneuli

An informational meeting was held in Marneuli within the framework of the Memorandum of Cooperation signed between the Central Election Commission (CEC) and the Zurab Zhvania School of State Administration.

The successful graduates of the State Language Teaching and Integration Program met with Giorgi Kalandarishvili, Chairperson of the CEC, and David Giorgadze, Director of the Zurab Zhvania School of State Administration.

In his address, Mr. Kalandarishvili spoke about the importance of elections, the introduction of electronic technologies, the benefits of digital innovations, and the ongoing preparations for the upcoming municipal elections. He highlighted that an informed younger generation not only better understands the value of their vote but also recognizes the importance of civic engagement in shaping the country’s future.

At the conclusion of the meeting, Mr. Kalandarishvili and Mr. Giorgadze awarded certificates to the graduates of the Marneuli Training Center in recognition of their successful completion of the State Language Teaching and Integration Program.

The event, held on September 28 at the Marneuli Training Center, was attended by CEC Spokesperson Natia Ioseliani, Chairperson of the Marneuli District Election Commission Lela Kristesiashvili, representatives of the District Election Commission, and Regional Coordinator Koba Asanidze.

Local government representatives also participated, including Marneuli First Deputy Mayor Roin Dekanoidze, Deputy Mayor Temur Shubitidze, and Head of the Administrative Office, Mamuka Shubitidze. The meeting was facilitated by Maia Butsuradze, Head of the Marneuli Training Center of the Zurab Zhvania School of State Administration.
