Minister of Interior of the Republic of Turkiye Ali Yerlikaya, together with a delegation, paid an official visit to Georgia. The Turkish counterpart is hosted by the Minister of Internal Affairs of Georgia Geka Geladze.

The Ministers of the two countries laid wreaths at the memorial to police officers fallen in the line of duty, located on the territory of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. The national anthems of Georgia and Turkiye were played.

The event was attended by the Director General of the Turkish National Police, Mahmut Demirtaş, the Deputy Ministers of Internal Affairs of Georgia, and other senior officials of the Ministry.
