Alex Akhvlediani, Head of the Maritime Transport Agency, dismissed from position.

According to the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development, the relevant order was signed on July 9, 2025.

Akhvlediani has served as the Director since May 2023.

As it known, he was detained in connection with a case involving Tornike Rizhvadze, former Chairman of Adjara Government Chairman, and released from custody after posting bail.
