As part of the Ambassadors’ Conference, a working session was held in the Parliament of Georgia, hosted by Speaker, Shalva Papuashvili.

The working session was opened by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia, Maka Botchorishvili, and emphasized the important role of parliamentary diplomacy in the effective implementation of foreign policy.

Speaker of the Parliament thanked the heads of diplomatic missions for facilitating bilateral visits within the framework of parliamentary diplomacy and for the support provided to parliamentary delegations at international platforms.

The meeting also focused on the issue of Georgia"s participation in international parliamentary assemblies.

During the session, special attention was paid to strengthening ties between parliamentary friendship groups as an effective tool for further developing relations between countries.

Nikoloz Samkharadze, Chairman of the Foreign Relations Committee, participated in the working session.
