“In tandem, the foremost priorities of our foreign policy are the de-occupation of our two historic regions and the policy of non-recognition. At the same time, we reaffirm our unwavering commitment to the approach that there is no alternative to a peaceful resolution of the conflict.

Today, we stand firm in defending our national interests.

Our message is unequivocal: Georgia will never surrender its sovereignty or its right to be an independent, democratic, peaceful nation. This is our historical duty and the foundation of our state’s very existence. It is the responsibility of Georgian diplomats to safeguard and accurately represent the country’s identity, centuries-old traditions, values on the international stage.

In this endeavour, especially considering the challenges and opportunities we face, your role is of particular importance. The future of our nation depends on you, Georgian diplomats, to ensure that the identity of our country, our proud traditions, our core values are protected and correctly conveyed in the global arena.

You have undertaken a mission far greater and more honourable than mere diplomatic activity; it is a duty to the history, present, future of our nation.

Remember that you represent a country and a people who never give up!
