Employees of the Migration Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, in close coordination with the relevant units of the Ministry, deported 43 foreign citizens from Georgia.
The deported persons are citizens of Russia, India, Iran, Turkey, Turkmenistan, Pakistan, Egypt, Azerbaijan, Bangladesh, Ethiopia, Jordan and Tajikistan
In accordance with the current legislation, the deported persons were banned from entering the country.
The Migration Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia is the body responsible for combating illegal migration within the country. One of its competencies is to identify foreign citizens residing in Georgia without legal grounds and to carry out their deportation from Georgia.
