Speaker of the Georgian Parliament addressed today’s session of the Bureau and outlined the schedule for the next 2 weeks.

“Regarding this week, it marks the final week of the current plenary sessions for the autumn term, although it has already been announced that we will hold extraordinary sessions next week. I anticipate these will take place on December 16 and 17.

For this week, we will still review the draft laws scheduled for discussion, though, in essence, we will only need 2 days, Tuesday and Wednesday, for plenary sessions. Thursday and Friday are unlikely to be required.

Next week, there will be extraordinary sessions, but not a single extended session, as the autumn term concludes on December 19. On that day, since it is a non-sessional week, we will hold a Bureau to formally close the autumn session.

I ask all Bureau members to note that the schedule for the next two weeks will be approximately as follows: plenary sessions tomorrow and the day after, Tuesday and Wednesday; Bureau meetings on Monday, as well as on Tuesday and Wednesday, December 16–17, which will likely feature extraordinary sessions. Finally, on Friday, December 19, we will hold a Bureau meeting to formally conclude the autumn session”, - explained Shalva Papuashvili.
