Within the framework of the OSCE Ministerial Council meeting in Vienna, Georgia`s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Maka Botchorishvili, met with the Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Albania, Elisa Spiropali.

The parties discussed issues of bilateral cooperation and noted the opportunities to further deepen relations, both in a bilateral format and within the context of engagement with the Western Balkans region.

The conversation underscored the shared aspirations toward integration into the European Union and, in this regard, the importance of exchanging relevant experience.

During the meeting, Georgia`s Minister of Foreign Affairs drew attention to Russia’s illegal occupation of Georgia`s territories. She congratulated her Albanian counterpart on her appointment and extended an invitation to visit Georgia.
