On the margins of the OSCE Ministerial Council meeting, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Maka Botchorishvili, met with the OSCE Representative on Freedom of the Media, Jan Braathu.

The parties discussed the challenges facing the OSCE region in the context of media freedom and independence.

The Minister placed particular emphasis on the deliberate disinformation campaigns targeting Georgia, which are aimed at undermining the country’s stability, and underscored the role of the Office of the OSCE Representative on Freedom of the Media in addressing such threats.
