Irakli Kobakhidze, Prime Minister of Georgia met the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kyrgyz Republic to Georgia, Maksat Mamitkanov.

During the meeting held at the Government Administration, discussions focused on the political and economic relations between the two countries and the future prospects for cooperation.

Trade and economic relations between the countries were also reviewed. Emphasis was placed on the positive dynamics of bilateral trade between Georgia and Kyrgyzstan in recent years and the importance of fully utilizing the existing potential in this area.

The meeting also highlighted Kyrgyzstan’s involvement in projects of regional significance and Georgia`s transit capabilities.
