It has once again been confirmed to what extent radicalism in Georgia is under control - Papuashvili

“In 21st-century Georgia, 35 years after the restoration of independence, we have ordinary puppets with Georgian surnames and passports who are controlled from abroad to damage their own country. Such a statement made today Speaker of the Georgian Parliament, while talking about the information, released yesterday by the Prime Time.

“It has once again been confirmed to what extent radicalism in Georgia is under control. The direct management of processes from abroad, where every word is pre-scripted and every step carefully calculated, exemplifies how the radical opposition and foreign-funded NGOs operate today.

So this is a disgraceful fact. In 21st-century Georgia, 35 years after the restoration of independence, we have ordinary puppets with Georgian surnames and passports who are controlled from abroad to damage their own country. It is how Georgian society should view this group of puppets, that their sole objective is to hand our country over directly to others to govern”, - said Shalva Papuashvili.

According to the Prime Time, it has obtained a document from Brussels, which was sent to the opposition by certain senior EU officials. Later, a briefing was held near Parliament, during which one of the protest organisers, Levan Jobava, read a statement.
