After the former president of Georgia, Salome Zourabichvili, foreign partners have now hired Giorgi Gakharia, who is accused of 2 criminal cases in Georgia - he became a fellow of “Hertie School”.
“Currently, Mr. Gakharia is a Fellow at the Hertie School. He is also a Visiting Researcher at the Hertie School’s Jacques Delors Centre, where his research is focusing on the topic of Georgia’s EU integration through the lens of European security.
The aim of the study is to critically assess the security implications of Georgia"s potential EU membership, taking into account historical, political, socio-economic, and security-related aspects of EU–Georgia relations.
