These days, we stand with the Turkish people in this tragedy, said Speaker of the Georgian Parliament.

“I want to extend my sympathies regarding the Turkish military aircraft that crashed within Georgian territory. I conveyed my condolences to the Speaker of the Turkish Parliament yesterday; we share in this grief. These are difficult times, and we stand united with the Turkish people in their sorrow”, - said Shalva Papuashvili.

On November 11, a Turkish military plane crashed in the Sighnaghi municipality, approximately 5 km from Georgia’s border.
