Giorgi Sharabidze participated in an event organized by the OSCE/ODIHR

The Deputy Chairperson of the Central Election Commission (CEC) of Georgia, Giorgi Sharabidze, participated in an event organized by the OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (OSCE/ODIHR).

On 3 November, during the seminar "Election Campaigns in the Online Environment" held in Vienna, representatives from various countries discussed the challenges, future prospects, and recommendations related to conducting election campaigns in the digital space. Participants also shared good practices in this regard and exchanged experiences. In addition, they deliberated on democratic election standards, the assessment of election results, and related recommendations.

Within the framework of the event, the Deputy Chairperson of the CEC of Georgia met with representatives and experts of the OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (OSCE/ODIHR), as well as with international colleagues.

The discussions focused on the activities implemented by the Election Administration (EA), while emphasizing the CEC`s full readiness to further strengthen and expand mutually beneficial cooperation within a professional framework. The seminar brought together electoral experts from OSCE member states, as well as representatives of international organizations.
