The visit of the Head of Government to China continues. Today the Georgian delegation will participate in the International Import Exhibition as a guest of honor.

The working visit of the Prime Minister of Georgia to China began with a meeting with his counterpart. Irakli Kobakhidze was hosted by Li Qiang in Shanghai. It is at his invitation that the Georgian delegation is in China.

At the bilateral meeting, the colleagues noted that the main principles in the relations between the two countries are mutual respect, equality and cooperation. They focused on the importance of developing the middle corridor within the framework of the Belt and Road Initiative.

After the speeches of the Prime Ministers, memorandums of cooperation were also signed between the two countries. The memorandum was signed between the Ministries of Economy, Environment Protection and Agriculture.
