At today`s meeting with the Prime Minister of Georgia, Irakli Kobakhidze, Premier of the People`s Republic of China Li Qiang emphasized the importance of Georgia`s participation in the International Import Expo and expressed readiness to further strengthen bilateral cooperation in various fields.

"Thank you for participating in the International Import Expo. Georgia is taking part this year for the first time as a guest of honor, which provides a unique opportunity to showcase Georgian products.

I am confident that Georgian companies will soon see tangible results from their participation. In recent years, under the strategic guidance of the leaders of our two countries, bilateral relations have developed intensively.

In 2023, our nations established a strategic partnership, and since then, mutually beneficial cooperation has been expanding across various fields.

China is grateful to Georgia for its sincere friendship. We wish to further strengthen strategic communication with Georgia, expand practical cooperation, and, through joint efforts, bring even greater benefits to our peoples", - said Li Qiang.
