Police arrested 1 person in Tbilisi on charges of facilitating the illegal purchase, storage and sale of narcotics

As a result of operational measures and investigative actions conducted by officers of Isani-Samgori Police Main Division under Tbilisi Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, detained L.Kh., born in 2002, on charges of facilitating the illegal purchase, storage and sale of narcotics.

The committed crime envisions up to 20 years or life imprisonment.

During personal and other search activities held in his residential home, 142 packages of the so-called "Bio" narcotics were seized by law enforcement officers.

The police also seized narcotics stored for further sale from various locations indicated by L.Kh.

The investigation is underway under Article 260, Part II, Subparagraph "d" and Article 260, Part V, Subparagraph "e" of the Criminal Code of Georgia.
