Due to large-scale rehabilitation works carried out on Rustaveli Avenue, parking on the adjacent streets is temporarily free of charge for citizens. In addition, tenants of commercial spaces in the underpasses on the same avenue will be exempted from rent payments. Such a statement made today the Mayor of Tbilisi.

“There are commercial spaces operating in the underpasses on Rustaveli Avenue that are currently leased out. During the rehabilitation process, these people will be exempted from rent payments, which is very important.

This applies to No. 37 Rustaveli Avenue, the underpasses in front of the 1st Public School (Gymnasium), near the Opera House, and a section of the Freedom Square underpass”, - said Kakha Kaladze.

As for the parking issue, the zonal-hourly parking system has been temporarily deactivated on 28 streets in the Mtatsminda district: “Due to the large-scale rehabilitation works conducted on Rustaveli Avenue, the zonal-hourly parking system is temporarily disabled on the adjacent streets, and parking is free for citizens during the period of the works”.

Parking is free of charge on the following streets: Tabukashvili, Vachnadze, Shengelaia, Leonidze, Sulkhan-Saba, Ingorokva, Gudiashvili, Purtseladze, Jorjadze, Chanturia, Laghidze, Meskhia, Abashidze, Javakhishvili, Akhvlediani, Dzmebi Kakabadzeebi, Kiacheli, Nikoladze, Miminoshvili, Griboedov, Chavchavadze, Laghidze, Besiki, Zhvania, Shevchenko, Lesia Ukrainka, Dzmebi Zubalashvili, and Chichinadze.
