The Employees of the Operative – investigative Department of the Border Police of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, detained 3 persons for the fact of the attempt of illegal, group crossing of the State Border of Georgia.

As a result of operational measures and investigative actions carried out by the Border Police Officers, it was determined, that the detainees, on the area of the responsibility of the Border Sector “Vale” of Akhaltiskhe Division of the Border Police, avoiding the check point, through the so called “green zone”, tried illegal crossing of the State Border to the direction to the Republic of Türkiye.

The investigation is ongoing under the Article 19 – 344, Part II, which implies 5 years of the imprisonment.
