Nika Melia has been found guilty on the charge of contempt of court

Nika Melia has been found guilty of contempt of court. By the judge`s decision, he was sentenced to 1 year and 6 months of imprisonment.

However, this sentence was absorbed by the previous judgment issued against Nika Melia, and he will still leave prison in December 2026.

Nika Melia was accused of contempt of court, specifically for verbally abusing Tornike Kochkiani, a judge of the Administrative Cases Panel.
