Minister of Internal Affairs held a meeting with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan

Minister of Internal Affairs Geka Geladze held an introductory meeting with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to Georgia, Dovletmyrat Seyitmammedov.

The parties emphasized the friendly relations and high-level cooperation between Georgia and Turkmenistan, both in bilateral and multilateral formats.

The conversation also touched upon the future cooperation of the law enforcement agencies of the two countries and the prospects for deepening relation in this dimension. The Minister of Internal Affairs confirmed to the Ambassador the readiness of the Georgian side to actively continue working with the Turkmenistan side to further strengthen cooperation in the field of law enforcement.
