The Minister of Economy and the Ministry are working very actively on the Anaklia [Deep Sea] Port construction project. Such a statement made today the Prime Minister of Georgia.

“We want to get the maximum benefit for our country, our country"s budget, our country’s economy here too.

In such conditions, negotiations take their time, although this is necessary, essential, however, in the end, everything will end as it should.

The main thing is that, despite the ongoing talks, the implementation of the project is not being delayed. The dredging and construction of the breakwaters continue, carried out using our own resources. These works are progressing, and of course, we will bring the negotiations to a successful conclusion”, - said Irakli Kobakhidze.
