Aragvi protected landscape to be extended

The Environmental Protection and Natural Resources Committee deliberated on the Draft Law on the Creation and Management of Aragvi Protected Landscape for the I reading.

The legal initiative was introduced by Zurab Ezugbaia, the Deputy Environmental Protection and Agriculture Minister.

Pursuant to the Draft, the area of the Aragvi Protected Landscape, which currently covers the gorges of the Gudamakari Aragvi and Khevsureti Aragvi Rivers, shall be extended to include the Vashlobi gorge.
