Administrative cases on road blocking continue - trial of Keta Tsitskishvili and Nino Beruashvili starts in the City Court

Administrative cases on the facts of blocking the road continue. Today it became known that law enforcement officers have detained 5 more people.

Two of them were sentenced to 6 days in prison, and the trial of Keta Tsitskishvili and Nino Beruashvili currently starts in the Tbilisi City Court.

Some of those detained in connection with the October 18 rally were sentenced to administrative detention yesterday. The judge sentenced Vakho Sanaia to 6 days in prison, and Levan Jobava and Shalva Chubinidze to 14 days in prison.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs accuses them of artificially blocking Rustaveli Avenue. According to Nino Beruashvili`s lawyer, Dimitri Nozadze, the detainee is allegedly accused of wearing a mask.
