Mayor of Tbilisi criticised Peter Fischer, the German Ambassador to Georgia, by saying that instead of diplomatic activities Fischer promoted attempts to divide the public.

Kakha Kaladze responded to the investigation launched by the Alternative for Germany party into the controversial activities of the German diplomat.

“As for Peter Fischer’s activities, we see that he does everything except diplomatic service. He is a member of a violent group and promotes confrontation, attempts to divide the public, and encourages extremist organizations. It is good that questions were raised about him in Germany as well.

The main thing for us is that representatives of all countries in relation to Georgia, those in various missions, in this case ambassadors, respect Georgia’s independence and constitution. We do not ask for anything special, they should fulfill what is written in the protocol”, - said Kakha Kaladze.
