A training course on regulatory issues was held at the Energy Training Center, established by the Georgian National Energy and Water Supply Regulatory Commission (GNERC), for employees of the Department of the Fuel and Energy Complex Regulation under the Ministry of Energy of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Within the framework of the training course, representatives of the Department of the Fuel and Energy Complex Regulation under the Ministry of Energy of the Kyrgyz Republic received trainings on tariff regulation and methodologies, the structure of the electricity market and technical regulation, as well as the harmonization of Georgia’s legislative framework with EU legislation.
The participants were provided with detailed information on the principles and significance of regulatory audit. The trainings were conducted by qualified employees of the GNERC.
Upon completion of the two-day training course, participants were awarded certificates.
The Energy Training Center aims to raise public awareness of energy-related issues and enhance the qualifications of professionals employed in the energy sector. To date, the Energy Training Center has provided training to approximately 4,000 individuals.
