Ahead of the European Political Community Summit, President of Serbia expressed support for deeper ties between Serbia and Georgia.

"I have an excellent relationship with Georgia, with President [Mikheil] Kavelashvili, whom I recently met in New York. Yesterday I sat next to Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze, we had a good conversation. Today we will continue to discuss important issues. We have some Georgian initiatives that we need to study, analyse and respond to. We also need to increase the level of our economic cooperation.

Serbia would always be ready to listen to everyone and hoped that the Georgian side would do the same… To be honest, I don`t really care what some people say about us. Our job is to take care of the country and the people", - said Aleksandar Vučić.
