The Minister of Internal Affairs, Geka Geladze, together with his First Deputy Roland Meskhi, held working meetings with the leadership of Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti and Imereti Police Departments.

Among other important issues, Geka Geladze focused on the importance of ensuring a decent working environment for police officers and on the projects already implemented and planned in the regions in this direction.

The Minister of Internal Affairs received detailed information from the heads of the regional police departments about the fight against crime in their operational areas, as well as police preventive measures. The conversation touched on crime statistics and crime-solving index.

Geka Geladze thanked the representatives of the departments for their effective work.
