Within the framework of the 80th session of the UN General Assembly, Minister of Foreign Affairs Maka Botchorishvili met with Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the United Arab Emirates.
During the meeting, the ministers noted with satisfaction that friendly and partnership ties between the countries are intensively developing in both bilateral and multilateral formats.
Positive exchange of high-level visits was highlighted, notably the visit of the President of the UAE, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, to Georgia. During this visit, the UAE expressed its readiness to undertake significant investment projects in Georgia and to develop cooperation across various sectors.
Discussions centered on collaboration in the field of investments, the deepening of trade and economic ties, and the strategic importance of the Middle Corridor. Particular attention was given to Georgia’s advantageous geographical position, attractive investment climate, and favorable business environment.
Both ministers reaffirmed their commitment to continuing and further enhancing the fruitful cooperation between their nations.
