October 4, including both the elections and the rally, will pass very peacefully, the main thing is that no one should contemplate breaking the law – Kobakhidze

October 4, including both the elections and the rally, will pass very peacefully, the main thing is that no one should contemplate breaking the law. Such a statement made today the Prime Minister of Georgia.

“Ultimately, the entire radical opposition is one force, which we call the collective [United] National Movement… In reality, there is no difference between them, only tactical variations.

Regarding their attitude towards the elections, it is clear there are two parties that participate in the elections, and there are two parties that declare participation in elections as treachery.

Naturally, they have their own subjective interests. One of the reasons why the October 4 protest rally was announced by the UNM and its second offshoot is that they want Lelo and Gakharia’s parties to receive as few votes as possible. There are subjective interests here, but ultimately, everyone has the same master.

Consequently, it is not surprising that, however much they may have differences, tactical or subjective, ultimately, their master still brings these parties together. Naturally, this will happen on October 4 as well, though they have absolutely no chance of success in any form.

October 4, including both the elections and the rally, will pass very peacefully.

The main thing is that no one should contemplate breaking the law. Everyone can assemble, but lawbreakers will face appropriate consequences. If anyone’s hand slips towards breaking the law, everyone will witness the strength of the security structures’ new management. My humble advice is not to let your hand slip”, - said Irakli Kobakhidze.
