The renovation of historical monuments is one of the most important parts of the program of the Tbilisi City Hall, and of course, the rehabilitation of the National Palace is a continuation of this important program. Such a statement the Prime Minister of Georgia made at the opening ceremony of the rehabilitated National Palace of Students and Youth.

“I am convinced that the National Palace will educate many more generations of our country, many more generations will master the basics of art and science here, participate in sports, and many more worthy people will join our culture, science, and sports sphere thanks to this National Palace.

I would like to thank everyone who was involved in the implementation of this very important project. Thanks to the City Hall, personally to the Mayor of Tbilisi, Kakha Kaladze. Under his leadership, we are accustomed to all such projects being carried out with special taste and outstanding quality, therefore, I would like to personally express my special gratitude to him.

I would also like to thank the company, each architect, restorer, and builder, who did this great job with the utmost professionalism. I want to congratulate you on this day and I would like to wish the National Palace great success in the future”, - said Irakli Kobakhidze.
