New York, UN General Assembly in the spotlight of the world media - Mikheil Kavelashvili to address the UNGA

President of Georgia departed for New York to participate in the 80th session of the UN General Assembly [UNGA] and to hold a series of high-level meetings.

As part of his visit, Mikheil Kavelashvili is scheduled to meet with UN Secretary General, António Guterres, to discuss key issues of international and regional importance.

According to the existing information, the President of Georgia will also attend an official reception hosted by US President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump in honour of the Heads of delegations participating in the UNGA.
