Minister of Foreign Affairs, Maka Botchorishvili, held a meeting with the Ambassador of the French Republic to Georgia, Olivier Courteaud.

During the meeting, the parties discussed current issues of Georgian-French relations and possible directions for the development of cooperation. They also exchanged views on the issue of Georgia’s integration into the European Union.

The importance of further cooperation and dialogue in this process was emphasized.

Olivier Courteaud confirmed France’s firm and unconditional support for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Georgia within its internationally recognized borders.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs wished the French Ambassador success in his future activities.
