The Mayor of Tbilisi responded to statements made by high-ranking EU officials regarding the detention of Elene Khoshtaria, leader of “Droa”.

“This is ordinary political speculation, filth that we see from these bureaucrats. Their statements are based on lies, damage the EU. How can a person assertively say that white is black? Unfortunately, this is not the first case, and society evaluates everything well. Everyone sees that enormous amounts of money have been spent over the years creating violent groups that exist in the country.

All of this is financed from outside. They have their masters, both inside the country in the form of some diplomats, and from outside. Everything bad that happens in the country, hatred, violence, attempts to confront society, is financed by external forces.

You see what support the opposition has and what condition they are in. They have no support or resources from the population to win. On October 4, they will definitely be defeated in all electoral districts. The Georgian people will pass another verdict on them. They are agents and serve the interests of another country. Naturally, such political parties have no place in the country’s politics”, - said Kakha Kaladze.
