The OSCE/ODIHR mission has been subjected to so much bullying and pressure that I don’t think they will even monitor the next parliamentary elections. Such a statement made today the Mayor of Tbilisi.

“I have already spoken on this topic many times and I will repeat it now that the OSCE/ODIHR observation mission was subjected to so much bullying, insults and pressure during the parliamentary elections that they have no desire to come. I think that they will not observe the next parliamentary elections either.

In addition to the bullying and insults of the local opposition, there were similar facts from outside the country. For example, let us recall the statements made by some European parliamentarians and high-ranking officials of some countries regarding the OSCE/ODIHR conclusion. Lies, filth, slander, threats were heard. Accordingly, these people do not want to be under the same pressure and that is why they made this decision.

As for the fact that their failure to come is allegedly due to deadlines, let me remind you that they came to observe the presidential elections in 2008 within the same deadline. With exactly the same letter the Czech Republic applied and they are coming there. From the very beginning, when we sent the letter, we were sure that they could not and would not come, lest they find themselves under the same pressure”, - said Kakha Kaladze.
