We should not be surprised, we should be especially careful, said the Mayor of Tbilisi, while commenting the involvement of Ukrainian special services in the Hexogen case.

“Who holds high positions in Ukraine? Could it be that the same individuals who inflicted suffering in our country until 2012 are involved now? If any misfortune has occurred, it may well be due to their involvement and complicity. Are these people not occupying various senior roles? We should not be surprised, we must remain vigilant”, - said Kakha Kaladze.

As he underlined, he preferred not to jump to conclusions prematurely, although he believes that Georgia has implemented very important preventive measures.

“I will refrain from making any statements in advance. It is crucial to wait for the investigative agencies working on this matter. We have already implemented significant preventive measures, and I thank the relevant authorities and every officer involved for their efforts”, - added the Mayor.
