Prime Minister of Georgia said the German Ambassador Peter Fischer was in such a “tragic situation” that his expulsion would be a “gift”.

“Defending Fischer is itself a tragic act. I don’t want to make any special comments on this.

He is such a tragic figure that expulsion would be a gift for him. When you are [Mamuka] Khazaradze’s tenant, what could be more tragic?” – said Irakli Kobakhidze.
