At least 38 Palestinians were killed, including women and children, and scores were injured in Israeli airstrikes on a residential building in the Shejaiya neighborhood in Gaza City, as Tel Aviv’s deadly onslaught on the enclave continued unabated, medics said, writes aa.com.tr.

Civil Defense spokesperson Mahmoud Basal said 8 women and 8 children were among the victims, while more than 85 people were also injured, including many in critical condition.

He said 34 people remain missing under the rubble of the targeted building, including several women and children.

The spokesman earlier put the death toll from the Israeli strike at 23 and over 60 others injured.
