The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia, Maka Botchorishvili, held a meeting with Permanent Representatives accredited to the UN, who are on a working visit to Georgia.

During the meeting, the Minister discussed the key priorities of Georgia`s foreign policy, ongoing and implemented reforms in the country, as well as economic opportunities.

Particular attention was paid to the situation in the occupied regions of Georgia. The conversation also touched upon the current processes in the region.

The parties discussed issues of cooperation within the UN and Georgia`s involvement in the efforts of the international community towards addressing global challenges. As part of the visit, the Permanent Representatives accredited to the UN visited the occupation line near the village of Khurvaleti and the IDP settlement in Tserovani.
