Officers of Imereti Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs arrested M.M., born in 1957, on charges of illegal purchase and storage of firearms and ammunition.

During a search of the defendant"s residential place, the police seized an automatic firearm, a hunting rifle, as well as 152 cartridges as evidence.

The committed crime envisions up to 6 years of imprisonment.

The investigation is in progress under Article 236, III part of the Criminal Code of Georgia.
