MIA detained another person in connection with the October 4 events in Tbilisi

Within the framework of the investigation launched in connection with the events that occurred in Tbilisi on October 4 of the current year, law enforcement officers of the Central Criminal Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs [MIA] detained another person, A.S. [DoB - 1987].

According to the MIA, a total of 45 people have been arrested so far. Law enforcement officers are continuing relevant investigative actions in order to identify other perpetrators of the crime and bring them to criminal liability.

The investigation is underway under Articles 317, 222, 225 and 187 of the Criminal Code of Georgia.
