Inspectors from the Adjara Department inspected the grocery store LLC “Adjara” as part of state control and suspended its operations due to identified violations.
According to the National Food Agency [NFA], the inspection revealed expired food items at the facility, including meat products. Additionally, it was established that the business operator was active without being registered in the Registry of Economic Activities.
“Due to the identified non-compliances, the facility was fined and its production process was suspended.
The National Food Agency urges business operators to comply with the requirements defined by food safety legislation. Consumers, in case of detecting violations, can contact the hotline of the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture at 15 01”, - says the NFA.
