“Medical Center Abkhazia” joined the global “Pink October” campaign and held a free screening initiative for displaced women from Abkhazia.

At the Gldani branch of the medical center, displaced beneficiaries underwent breast and cervical cancer screening. Up to 50 women benefited from the initiative. Within the framework of the event, beneficiaries were provided with free medications.

The screening campaign was jointly organized by the Ministry of Health and Social Protection of the Autonomous Republic of Abkhazia, “Medical Center Abkhazia”, and the Abkhazia branch of the Georgian Dream Women’s Organization.

“The main goal of Medical Center Abkhazia is to ensure that patients have the opportunity to receive comprehensive and high-quality medical services. Today is an important day for these ladies; we want them to feel our support and know that they are not alone in the process of taking care of their health”, - said Natia Partsvania, General Director of “Medical Center Abkhazia”.
