As part of the rehabilitation of Rustaveli Avenue, infrastructure works are planned at the intersection of Chovelidze Street and Melikishvili Avenue, which is why the movement of vehicles and public transport will be completely restricted at the intersection of Chovelidze Street from 00:00 on November 1 to 00:00 on November 2.
“Vehicles coming from Melikishvili Avenue will be able to bypass Chovelidze Street via Kostava and Zandukeli Streets. Vehicles coming from Kostava Street will be able to get around by going up Nikoladze Street, via Melikishvili Avenue, Janashia and Barnovi Streets.
During the restriction period, the direction of traffic on Chovelidze Street will change for bus N378 and minibus routes N408, N420. In particular, bus N378, when moving from the station square to Rcheulishvili-Japaridze Streets, will continue to move from Varaziskhevi towards Kekelidze Street, after which it will connect with Barnovi Street via Janashvili Street and move towards Chovelidze Street, then continue its movement according to the established scheme. After arriving at Drzmebi Kakabadzei Street from Barnovi Street (the area adjacent to the Rustaveli metro station), minibus routes N408 and N420 will no longer continue their movement towards Kostava Street.
