In the Samtskhe-Javakheti region, rehabilitation works on the administrative building of the Aspindza forest district have been completed. At the initiative of the National Forestry Agency [NFA], 10 administrative buildings have been arranged nationwide to simplify access to forest-related services.

New administrative buildings were constructed in Oni, Ambrolauri, Tsageri. Construction and renovation works have been completed in Lentekhi, Aspindza, Dusheti, Sachkhere, and Zestafoni. This will enable both local residents and the private sector to receive necessary information and services on site.

"Within the framework of technological re-equipment and institutional strengthening, new administrative buildings were constructed to reinforce regional forestry services. This is also important for local residents to seamlessly access all services offered by the Forestry Agency. Strengthening institutional capacities, including the improvement of working conditions, remains one of our primary directions", - said Besik Amiranashvili, Head of the NFA.
