The First Deputy Minister of Defense of Georgia, Paata Patiashvili, was in the Republic of France on a working visit within the framework of the Georgian-French Strategic Dialogue.
Paata Patiashvili and the members of the delegation were hosted by Lieutenant General Éric Peltier. During the meeting, they discussed the importance of the defense partnership between Georgia and France and the prospects for deepening cooperation in various directions.
Within the framework of the dialogue, the global security environment and existing challenges were reviewed. The Deputy Minister of Defense expressed hope that bilateral ties with France and Western partners will continue and expand even further.
